Step 1 - Day 1

For creating your own website you need to have to have the most important thing, firstly a name for it (i.e. domain name) secondly you need to have an address for it (i.e. hosting service provider in this case blogger), because without your name and address people would not be able to reach you right.

So as for the step 1 choose a name of your website/blog, try to keep the name as simple and unique as it could be, for example if your blog is about Cooking tips, you can name your blog CookingMadeEasy.

Secondly, choose your Blog Hosting Provider i.e., a website which allows to publish your own blog. Here we will be using Blogger - A Google Powered Blogging Website.

Next, if you have a Google Account, then use the Sign in Through Your Google Account and if you do not have Google Account then click on "Create Your Blog Now."

Then the blogger will ask to choose a screen name i.e. the name by which people will know the author, you can either write your name or create a nick name of your own choice.

Now enter the name of your Blog/Website in the field Blog Title: eg. Tips for Cooking and then enter an address for your website in the field blog address: this should be short and unique, check for availability before proceeding, if your name is available then click on continue.

Now select the choice of your template or the theme the way you want your website to look, for now you can choose any and later on you can change it, but it would be better if you select the Minima Black Template, as a black screen will save 20% of energy of your reader's monitor as such it will help combat Global Warming and Save Energy. So choose Minima Black Template and proceed.

Congratulations Now your Blog is created, now you just need to tweak, add functionality and post information on your website. ie. your house building is built, now you have to make a beautiful home.
